View answerBudget 2023 included a very comprehensive package of measures to be implemented over the rest of 2022 and for the early part of next year to help households, businesses and civic society cope with the increased cost of living. As part of this package a €400 lump sum payment is issued to people in receipt of the Fuel Allowance. The county breakdown of those in receipt of the Fuel Allowance at the end of October 2022 is shown in the attached tabular statement. Note that these numbers are subject to change given that the payment will be based on those awarded and in payment throughout the period of eligibility.
