Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he or any officials from his Department or from bodies under the aegis of his Department travelled to the Sharm el-Sheikh Climate Change Conference; the number who travelled; the costs incurred; and if he will make a statement on the matter. One officer from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine travelled to Sharm el-Sheikh Egypt and attended the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference - COP 27.

The total cost to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine including flights, accommodation and travel totaled €2,800.
