247. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Social Protection when a State pension (non-contributory) will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [58499/22]
View answerAn application for State pension (contributory) was received on 10 August 2022. There is no record of receipt of an application for State Pension (non-contributory).
The person concerned was awarded the State Pension (contributory) pension at the weekly rate of €248.30 from 16 November 2022. They were notified in writing on 19 November 2022.
I hope this clarifies the position for the Deputy.
