Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Justice the number of complaints under each category heading made by prisoners in 2019 and to date in 2022; the details of the outcomes upheld, not upheld, not proven, terminated, incomplete or withdrawn; the length of time it took to complete and communicate the outcomes of complaints to prisoners by the prison name in the breakdown of categories in which the complaints were filed; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
