Deputy Pauline Tully asked the Minister for Finance if he plans to appoint an additional full-time fiscal attaché and an additional full-time budget attaché at assistant principal officer grade to the Irish permanent representation to the EU; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that it is not currently intended to appoint an additional Fiscal Attaché or an additional Budget Attaché to the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the EU in Brussels , beyond the Fiscal Attaché and Budget Attaché positions that currently exist there.
