1130. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Justice if he will meet with a person (details supplied) who has suffered significantly while working for the State due to a number of serious incidents that have happened in Portlaoise Prison. [1542/23]
View answerAs the Deputy may be aware, certain matters related to the case referred to are now the subject of legal proceedings. As this case is currently before the courts it would not be appropriate for me to meet with the individual involved or make any public comment at this time.
