163. Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Transport the number of applicants for NCT tests from 2020 to date who did not produce a driver's licence or public service card when presenting for their test and who had to return to the test centre at a later date to produce either document; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The operation of the National Car Test Service is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority and I have referred the question to the Authority for direct reply.

I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
