1725. Deputy Holly Cairns asked the Minister for Health the status of the national standardised list of community funded aids and appliances and prescribing criteria, including the list of all aids and appliances on the list; if there is a specific category for persons who are blind or vision impaired; and if so, the aids and appliances that are included for this category. As the Health Service Executive (HSE) has responsibility for the provision of aids and appliances under the Community Funded Schemes, I have asked the HSE to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
