566. Deputy Jennifer Whitmore asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if he will provide an update on progress of the working group that was established to examine the short-, medium- and long-term measures required to protect bird species of conservation concern that are currently listed on the National Parks and Wildlife Service's open seasons order; if he will provide a timeline for those actions to be implemented; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Working Group for the review of the bird species on the Open Seasons Order is proceeding with its plan for a public consultation on the matter. A Chairperson for the public consultation will be appointed in the coming weeks and dates for the consultation will then be finalised.
