612. Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Health if he will provide an update on the availability of sunosi, which is used to treat narcolepsy and obstructive sleep apnoea in Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3238/23]

The Marketing Authorisation Holder for Sunosi, TMC Pharma (EU) Limited, has not placed the product on the Irish market since being granted a marketing authorisation in 2020.

The HSE has confirmed that Sunosi (solriamfetol) was approved for reimbursement under High Tech Arrangements subject to managed access. However, the company have not been in a position to launch the product to date.
