View answerDue to the unpredictability of weather conditions, it is difficult to estimate precise funding amounts for applications for flooding damage under the humanitarian relief Scheme on an annual basis. Accordingly, a nominal €1,000 in capital funding is allocated in the 2023 Estimates. Usually, the funding requirements for eligible claims costs incurred under this Scheme is met by way of annual supplementary estimate.
