497. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the amount of each bonus payment to employees of Coillte and Greyhound Racing Ireland in 2020, 2021 and 2022. [6094/23]
View answerCoillte is a private limited company established under the Forestry Act 1988 and is operationally independent from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
Rásaíocht Con Éireann (RCÉ) is a commercial state body, established under the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 chiefly to control greyhound racing and to improve and develop the greyhound industry. RCÉ is a body corporate and a separate legal entity to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
The questions raised by the Deputy are an operational matter for Coillte and RCÉ and I have, therefore, referred the matter to both Coillte and RCÉ for direct follow-up with the Deputy.
