Deputy Noel Grealish asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications the reason Inland Fisheries Ireland, which operates under his Department’s aegis, has never completed an appropriate assessment screening, as required under the EU habitats directive, for the operation of a hatchery; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerIssues in relation to the Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) facility, referred to by the Deputy, are operational matters for IFI in which neither I nor my department have any function.
