View answerThe Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) is part of the Health Service Executive and is Ireland's specialist agency for the surveillance of communicable diseases. It also provides independent advice and timely information on the control and prevention of infectious diseases as well as carrying out disease surveillance, epidemiological investigation and related research and training.
The HPSC advise of HPV uptake rates at Stage 1 and Stage 2 as follows:
