493. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if his Department have any plans to mark the 60th anniversary of the passing of a person (details supplied) in October 2023; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13725/23]
View answerMy Department has, in past years, commemorated this individual with a grove of trees within Killarney National Park. There is also a sculpture, marking the 50th anniversary of his passing, at the entrance to Killarney House and Gardens. I am not aware of any proposals in relation to the 60th anniversary of his passing.
