1043. Deputy Sorca Clarke asked the Minister for Justice if he will review in its entirety the application under the regularisation of the long-term undocumented migrants scheme by a person (details supplied). [18262/23]
View answerI am advised by the Immigration Service Delivery function of my Department that the person concerned has made an application under the Regularisation Scheme. That application is being examined at present to see if it meets the Regularisation Scheme’s qualifying criteria. Once that examination has been completed the person concerned will be notified of the outcome of their application. I am advised that this process should be completed within the coming weeks.
Queries in relation to the status of individual immigration cases may be made directly to my Department by e-mail using the Oireachtas Mail facility at INISOireachtasMail@justice.ie, which has been specifically established for this purpose. This service enables up to date information on such cases to be obtained without the need to seek information by way of the Parliamentary Question process. The Deputy may consider using the e-mail service except in the cases where the response is, in the Deputy's view, inadequate or too long awaited.
