277. Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Transport the number of cancellations in driving tests that occurred in counties Cavan and Monaghan over the following years 2021, 2022 and the first quarter of 2023; how many of the cancellations were offered to those on the waiting list; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The operation of the national driving test service is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority and the information requested is held by them. I have therefore referred this question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
