403. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Health the extent to which the provision of primary care centres throughout County Kildare is ongoing, with particular reference to the needs of Maynooth, a university town with a potential population of 40,000, Celbridge, with a growing population of up to 30,000, and Leixlip, with a growing population of up to 30,000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Health Service Executive (HSE) holds responsibility for the provision, along with the maintenance and operation of Primary Care Centres, I have asked the HSE to respond directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.
