80. Deputy Ged Nash asked the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment since the enactment of the Industrial Relations (Amendment) Act 2015, the number of applications made to the Labour Court under Section 2 (1) of the Industrial Relations (Amendment) Act 2001, as amended; if he will provide a list of each case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Since the enactment of the Industrial Relations (Amendment) Act 2015, 11 applications were made to the Labour Court under Section 2(1) of the Industrial Relations (Amendment) Act 2001 as amended. A recommendation issued in respect of 7 of these applications and 4 were withdrawn by the requesting party.
