301. Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for Education the position regarding a lease for a school (details supplied); when the matter will be finalised; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [21727/23]
View answerThe current position on the lease to which the Deputy refers is that the work is ongoing and approaching conclusion. The Chief State Solicitors Office, on behalf of my Department, has been engaging with the property owners’ legal representative on the draft lease for some time and the vast majority of the clauses in the draft lease are agreed.
My Department is working with relevant stakeholders with a view to finalising the remaining clauses of the lease.
