Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform his plans to review in consultation with the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Minister for Sport the way in which the yield from betting duty and betting intermediary duty is distributed and or used. View answerThe way in which Exchequer funding is allocated to Horse and Greyhound racing, is following a recommendation of a financial amount by the Dáil Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine, that financial amount is referenced in the annual Estimates allocation to Department of Agriculture Food and Marine and subsequently operationally activated by a dedicated Statutory Instrument.
