Questions (730)

Mick Barry

Question:

730. Deputy Mick Barry asked the Minister for Health if he is aware of any advice from the National Gender Service to GPs not to provide blood testing facilities or to administer HRT therapies to people accessing gender affirming care; if he will confirm that the administration of HRT therapies to patients is a matter for them and their doctor; if he will meet with grassroots groups that campaign for the rights of trans and intersex people in relation to access to gender affirming care; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
