View answerCork County Council’s Housing Delivery Action Plan, which sets out details of social and affordable housing delivery in the period 2022-2026, is available on the Council’s website at www.corkcoco.ie/en/resident/housing/housing-delivery-action-plan-2022-2026. The Council has a social housing delivery target of 3,198 units over the period 2022 to 2026. In 2022, Cork County Council delivered a total of 558 social housing units (build and leasing).
The Housing Delivery Action Plan identifies a social housing delivery target of 596 units in the Municipal District of West Cork, out to 2026, with a total of 272 units identified as approved delivery. The Action Plan will be subject to ongoing review to ensure that it reflects changing social housing pipelines and needs as they arise.
