301. Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media if she will outline the number of board members for the Chester Beatty Library; the current allowance for members of the board; the total number of meetings of the board in each of the past ten years; and the total expenditure on the board annually in each of the past ten years, in tabular form. There are 10 members of the Board of Trustees of the Chester Beatty and they do not receive fees for their work as members of the Board. Arrangements regarding board meetings, and the recoupment of receipted expenses incurred by Board members while carrying out their duties, are part of the day-to-day operations of this institution and I have no role in this regard.
