619. Deputy Claire Kerrane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of recipients of CAP Pillar 1 funds, in bands and by county from 2021 to date, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24467/23]
View answerThe attached table outlines the CAP Pillar 1 Direct Payments for 2021 and 2022, including the Basic Payment Scheme (BPS), the Greening Scheme and the Young Farmer Scheme. Residual payments from previous scheme years continue to issue in subsequent years. Approximately, €1.2bn is paid annually as an income support and is 100% funded by the EU.
