Deputy Neasa Hourigan asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the grants and supports available for the purchase and maintenance of through-floor lifts used by people with disabilities outside of the housing adaptation grant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage has responsibility for the Housing Adaptation Grant for People with a Disability. I do not have any role or function in relation to this grant, or any similar grants for the purchase and maintenance of through-floor lifts used by people with disabilities.
