202. Deputy Patricia Ryan asked the Minister for Transport the number of cars currently awaiting NCT tests in Kildare; the availability of timely appointments; the earliest appointment available at present; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26358/23]
View answerThe operation of the National Car Testing Service (NCTS) is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority and the Authority holds the information sought by the Deputy. I have referred the Deputy's query to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
