20. Deputy Darren O'Rourke asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications the number of complaints received by the National Waste Collection Permit Office in 2020, 2021, 2022 and in Q1 2023, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26464/23]
View answerThe National Waste Collection Permit Office (NWCPO) processes waste collection permit applications and review applications for all local authorities. It maintains the Waste Collection Permit register, revokes Waste Collection Permits as appropriate, and provides data reports to relevant stakeholders- including enforcement authorities where required. Questions in relation to the number of complaints received by the NWCPO should be directed to that office, please see National Waste Collection Permit Office Home (nwcpo.ie).
