Deputy Colm Burke asked the Minister for Health if consideration would be given to implementing a bursary of €5,000 per annum for the training of radiation therapists, similar to the scheme which is currently in place at UCC for the training of diagnostic radiography students and where the participants are required to work for a period of two years after graduation with the HSE South/Southwest Hospital Group; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
