View answerMy Department publishes comprehensive programme level statistics on a quarterly basis on social housing delivery activity by local authorities and Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) in each local authority. This data is available to the end of 2022, and is published on the statistics page of my Department’s website, at the following link: www.gov.ie/en/collection/6060e-overall-social-housing-provision/
The figures referred to in Parliamentary Question No. 760 of 26 July 2022, relate to expenditure on acquisitions in each local authority in 2021. This information is based on the financial information available to the Department and it should be noted that delivery does not necessarily occur in the year of approval or spend.
