Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if his Department or any agency under the aegis of his Department operates a barter account for the provision of goods or services; if so, if payments have been directed to be made to a barter account during the period 2011 to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department does not operate any barter accounts therefore the information requested is not available.

Arrangements have been put in place by all bodies under the aegis of my Department to facilitate the provision of information directly to members of the Oireachtas.  This provides a speedy, efficient and cost effective system to address queries directly to the relevant bodies.
