337. Deputy Rose Conway-Walsh asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform the first and full-year cost of abolishing admission charges to Office of Public Works heritage sites. [35183/23]
View answerThe deficit in income is estimated at 11.5 million euro in the event of admission charges being abolished for a full twelve months at OPW heritage sites in 2024. This estimate has been prepared based on a comparative exercise on income generated across the years from 2019 to 2022 encompassing pre and post-Covid income levels.
