Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Minister for Health in relation to the implantation of the spring implants which have been used in Temple Street Hospital for spinal surgery in patients with spinal muscular atrophy and spina bifida, what consent process did the patients and families go through for unregistered implants; and how is this documented.
