Meath County Council commissioned the preparation of a Strategic Assessment Report (SAR) concerning options in relation to a potential Julianstown bypass. The SAR was submitted to the Department for review in accordance with the then Public Spending Code. The Department is now liaising with Meath County Council in light of the revised Transport Appraisal Framework (TAF).
