266. Deputy Cathal Crowe asked the Minister for Transport the total amount of funding allocated for the development of Greenway projects, by local authority since the formation of this Government, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [37007/23]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for overall policy and exchequer funding in relation to Active Travel and Greenways.
As of 20 September 2021, Greenway funding is administered through Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), in conjunction with the local authorities concerned.
The table below outlines the funds allocated to Greenways, including cross border Greenways, provided directly from the Department of Transport and through TII from September 2021.
