199. Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if he will implement an extension to the slurry spreading deadline of 1 October 2023; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [40954/23]
View answerI have considered the matter raised and in accordance with the Good Agricultural Practice Regulations (SI 113 of 2022) I have decided, this year, to extend the slurry spreading period to the 7 October 2023. The closed period for slurry spreading will therefore start on the 8 October 2023.
