View answerThe preparation of Regulatory Impact Assessments (RIA) is an important element of the legislative process and presents an opportunity that my Department takes seriously. Of the 27 Bills prepared and published by my Department since 27 June 2020, 19 RIAs were prepared, 5 of which were published. As the Deputy will be aware, RIAs are not required in relation to all legislation.
