Deputy Louise O'Reilly asked the Minister for Transport if he is aware that pensioners of a company (details supplied) are struggling with the cost of living because their pensions were cut and are in no way keeping pace with inflation; if he has any plans to meet with them or their representatives to discuss their pension issues; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Pension entitlements in a private company such as Aer Lingus are primarily matters for the Trustees, the members of the scheme and the companies participating in the scheme.
