348. Deputy Ivana Bacik asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media if her Department has a policy on the use of artificial intelligence; and if any Departmental functions are assisted by language model-based chatbots (details supplied). [42825/23]
View answerMy Department is guided by the National Cyber Security Centre in respect of all matters related to the use or operation of artificial intelligence. Chatbots are not utilised to assist with Departmental functions, all applications and platforms used or operated by my Department must be in line with relevant policies and be consistent with advice provided by the National Cyber Security Centre on such matters.
