Deputy Ivana Bacik asked the Minister for Transport if the NTA owns properties or sites which are vacant or derelict; if so, the number and addresses of such properties; if they are recorded on the vacancy or dereliction registers; and the reason for which they are vacant or derelict, in tabular form. View answerAs the Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
The issue raised would be a matter for the NTA to respond to. Therefore, I have forwarded the Deputy's question in relation to NTA properties/sites to the Authority for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
