Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media to explain where the funding is being repurposed from within her Department's arts and culture programme to fund the increases announced for the Arts Council, Culture Ireland, Screen Ireland, Safe to Create, and Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, given the overall programme budget is only increasing by 0.7% in Budget 2024.
