Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for Health when the announcement was originally made for a facility (details supplied); who made the announcement; what funding has been put in place; whether a contractor has been appointed; the up-to-date position of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Health Service Executive (HSE) holds responsibility for the provision, along with the maintenance and operation of Primary Care Centres, I have asked the HSE to respond directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.
