1275. Deputy Willie O'Dea asked the Minister for Health when the new 96-bed block in UHL is going to be completed and ready to accept patients; how many of the beds will go towards increasing existing capacity and not replace existing beds; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [48364/23]

As the Health Service Executive is responsible for the delivery of public healthcare infrastructure projects, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
