183. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Health for a breakdown, in tabular form, of the number of children under the age of 12 years who have been referred for a public psychological assessment for specific learning disabilities including dyslexia and dyspraxia, and ADHD for each category, by year, from 2019 to 2023, and by county (details supplied); to provide a breakdown of the number of persons in a senior psychologist post working on assessments, by county, for the latest available year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this question refers to service matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible. As the Deputy may be aware, the industrial action that commenced on Friday 6th October, by management and administrative grades in Fórsa Trade Union in the HSE, will impact on the response times to Parliamentary Questions and Representations.
