Deputy Ged Nash asked the Minister for Health the reason a group of workers (details supplied) who work with a private service provider providing residential services to persons with additional needs and funded through Section 39 have been deemed ineligible for the pandemic special recognition payment; how the decision is consistent with the fact that workers, for example who work for private providers in the nursing home sector are eligible for the payment; if he will review this policy issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
