View answerSection 10 of the Broadcasting Act 2009, as amended by the Online Safety and Media Regulation Act 2022, states that Coimisiún na Meán shall be independent in the performance of its functions. As such, the Minister has no role in the day-to-day operations of Coimisiún na Meán and the information sought by the Deputy is an operational matter for that body.
