146. Deputy Joan Collins asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth how many speech and language therapists are currently working in each health district of Dublin city and county; how many positions are currently vacant; and how current numbers compare to each of the past ten years. As this question refers to service matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.

As the Deputy may be aware, the industrial action that commenced on Friday 6th October, by management and administrative grades in Fórsa Trade Union in the HSE, will impact on the response times to Parliamentary Questions and Representations.
