265. Deputy Jennifer Murnane O'Connor asked the Minister for Finance the number of cars sold with an open market selling price above €50,000, €75,000, €100,000 and €120,000 in 2022 and to date in 2023, in tabular form. [55380/23]
View answerI am advised by Revenue that the number of category A vehicles registered for Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) with an open market selling price (OMSP) across each of the price ranges requested for 2022 and to 31 October 2023 are provided in the table below. “Category A” includes cars and minibuses with a passenger capacity of not more than 8 persons.
