Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media if her Department provides funding to the artists support scheme pilot; if so, if she will provide the figures relating to participants and costs accrued to date and if she will make a statement on the matter.  My Department does not provide funding to the Artists Support Scheme Pilot.   My Department does however operate the Basic Income for the Arts pilot research scheme and the Deputy will find more information on this scheme at: www.gov.ie/en/campaigns/09cf6-basic-income-for-the-arts-pilot-scheme/
