Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the number of children from counties Cavan and Monaghan that were referred to a service (details supplied) for respite who were subsequently excluded from the service in each month since January 2020; the number in each month that had commenced the service before being excluded; the number from each month that were offered alternative respite supports that matched the hours and days provided in the service; the average timeframe for this alternative to be provided, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
